The Kerala Fund will gather former Indian migrant workers' data to help recover lost wages and expenses incurred during employment in Vietnam. It will be a long-term project, but we feel that eventually, we can bring the culprits of this forced labor to justice.
We will liaison with several organizations focusing on human trafficking and forced labor. The goal is to come up with a strategy to help the victims of the Indian restaurant in Vietnam to include an email campaign with foreign consulates and embassies.
We decided to launch the website today. Next week we will sign with an Open Collective
Fiscal Host.
The Kerala Fund will join with Open Collective Fiscal Host to handle all donations. The Kerala Fund could not join an Open Collective since the affected migrants resided in India.
Founder decided to call the name the nonprofit organization to manage the fundraising as the "Kerala Fund".
