Empowering migrant workers

Our grassroots goal is to help migrant workers break through the boundaries of social stratification.

A global grassroots organization

Welcome

The Kerala Fund is built from the grassroots to solve problems for those affected by a stratified society.

Who are we?

Caring for the well-being of people should be one of the biggest priorities of humanity. Yet many people are being pushed to the fringes of society and ignored. We are a group of altruistic people aiming to help stratified people move upwards in society.

Why do we care?

  • Migrant workers are being exploited by their owners, resulting in long work hours and unpaid wages.
  • Migrant workers cannot escape since their employers are holding their passports.
  • Migrant workers are too scared to complain fearing they will lose their salaries.

With social stratification, the norm is to ignore these groups. We, at the Kerala Fund, refuse to do this. Our goal is to help migrant workers break through the boundaries of social stratification.

Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

This includes fighting to end forced labor.
